Flashing Check engine light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

check engine light comes on occassionally and flashes off and on sometimes at idle and sometimes when accelerating. No trouble codes present, just code 55 stating everything is ok. What could be the possible issue?

could be a short in the wiring. you might want to try to take it to a repair shop or the dealer.

That sounds like a Security problem... Does your car have a factory alarm system?
