Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1996 pathfinder ac hot. Full charged, but no pressure change on gauges when running. Compressor problem? Should I replace the expansion valve, and how is this done? Thanks, Mark

If the system is in fact full of refrigerant ( and not air ) its a compressor problem.

no, if it is fully charged take the low side and put a c clamp on the hose part and watch your gauges. if the high side starts to clim then its the expansion valve and not the compressor
