I have water leaking in my oil on my 1990 ford ranger 2.9L v6 fuel injected truck. Whatcould be causing my problem?

Blown Head Gasket. A Leak Check and compression tests are in order.

its not always in the head gasket. its actually the intake manifold gasket leaking to then in return the coolent is being mixed in with the oil.

I forgot about that. It does happen to the 2.9L You could pressurize the cooling system and see if the oil level rises.

I'll check all that out my next pay check. Thank u both. N also I have an option to switch engines. A buddy of mine says I should put a 5.0 engine since its ford I asked if its possible but i didn't get an answer. Is it possible to do that?

I wouldn't know. Sounds cool though. All of my expertise is in OEM.
