1999 Nissan Maxima
I have a Nissan Maxima that wouldn't start
yesterday morning with temperatures at 10º
degrees outside.I bought a new battery and it still
won't start. What's wrong? Is it alternator maybe?
An alternator will not keep it from starting, my concern is the temps, at 10 degrees if it didn't have enough antifreeze in it the engine could be froze up, does the starter make a loud click when you turn the key to crank?
No it sounds like it's trying to turn over but doesn't catch.
Then it could be low voltage at the starter, you may have to run a voltage drop test on the battery cables.
Thank you.I will have that checked.
