No. Cranking is done by the starter. Spark plugs will not prevent an engine from cranking or turning over.

For some people, the word cranking means starting. If this correct, here, faulty plugs alone in your Corolla can cause misfires, but won't prevent the engine from starting. Although, listening to an engine with this problem might make you wish it hadn't started.
