what engine mounts work better on a 1965 chevy truck from a six to a small block 8

Asked by ramr1 Mar 02, 2014 at 12:55 PM about the 1965 Chevrolet C/K 10

Question type: Car Customization

I am trying to install a 350 on my 65 chevy truck. It orginally had a six. I was told that the same mount from a six would work for v8 but the driver side mount won't line up to the truck bracket. The right side no problem.

I was reading that some six cylinders had two different mount perches. The v-8s had the same perches. I think you just need the one mount in this case, off of a v-8 truck
