2017 Civic Starting Problem

Asked by Civic2400 Jun 21, 2021 at 09:55 PM about the 2017 Honda Civic

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just finished a 6 hour drive with my Civic, and parked it at my house for a few
hours no problem. When I tried to drive somewhere, I got a ton of error
messages about things all of a sudden not working. When I tried to turn off the
car, I accidentally activated Accessory Mode, but nothing happened when I
tried (push power button without the break) to shut it off. After about 10
minutes all the lights and screens went dark, but now when I try to start it
again the start button just flashes white a few times and then quits. Nothing
from the engine. Is this a battery issue? Or does anyone know how to fix this?

tech over kill , do more research and you should find some help , you may have to bring it to the dealer and the work may be warranted , We used to drive cars till they rusted out but they still ran , your car is 4 years old and you're having problems .

Sounds like symptoms of a battery about to die. Have the battery checked with a volt meter and replace it if it reads less than 12V.
