Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey guys I am needing some help in finding out where to locate the original factory code to unlock the doors with the keypad. I am not sure where to look and I dont have the owners manual with the numbers in it. Oh and it is a 2001 Lincoln Continental.

Thanks

Sometimes there are stickers with the code on the trunk lid or hinges. Sometimes there will be a sticker with the code located under the dash on the passenger side also. If you can't find it a local dealer can hook the car up to a computer and get it. Good luck.

If you look in the owners manual, ther is a way to reprogram the code to the code of your choice
