Can you help me figure out cause of fuel smell?
Smelld gas after getting new brakes and rotors at a
Sun Auto shop. Took car back to shop after week
because brakes were squealing...mechanics
pointed out gas leak at a 'pan's next to the rear
driver's side tire...said it could be a number of
things, that he'd evaluate / give me a repair
estimate ... but when I told him the smell started
after they had done my brakes and that I have no
money to put into the car, he failed to evaluate /
give me an estimate , handed me my keys and off I
drove with. still-squeaky brakes. So, what can this
be? I'm scared to death th play with gas but if its
potentially an easy fix, 'll try to repair myself. Thank
