I replaced the fuel pump and filter in tank. I removed the fuel pressure line on
the fuel rail and veriifed fuel flow and pressure, bur no way to release air in
rail. will crank on starting fluid but appears to be getting no fuel at injectors.

It should just work its-way in, but you may still have a fuel issue it when you spay starting fluid and it fires off. I would check for power at the injectors first. If there is power there then should do a fuel bleed down test. With a fuel pressure gauge hooked up build up pressure by cycling the key on, off...then with the key off watch the fuel pressure to see if it drops more than 5 lbs in 3 minutes. If it does then may have leaky fuel injectors, leaky spider lines, or a leaky fuel regulator.
