with 270000 miles for 1000 is
this a good deal?

You will have to judge that for yourself. Is it in good shape? Can you afford to lose your grand tomorrow?

ask questions about the routine maintenance. the straight six can give u another 100k miles easy depending on how well it has been taken care of. look for a rust frame! if ur bottom frame is rusty, dont do it. tire treads, tires are expensive and u can knock a few $$$ off that price. DMV history? another legit reason to demand lower price. buying from a dealer? tell em you have appointments at other lots and get that price down further.. 800$ is what id push for
