I have a 2014 Chevy Equinox. The controls on the dash just stopped working. I can't change from heat to air conditioning, can't change the radio station or volume etc. Could it be a fuse?

I would checked your fused panel for a blown fuse
My car just did the same thing, same year, and the dealership said it isn't a fuse. I checked those first. The problem is with the instrument cluster panel. The dealership should call me back shortly to tell me what's going wrong and how to fix it.

GuruS1GB did you ever get the problem fixed? My 2014 is doing the same thing. It has been at the dealership for almost a week. I thought it was the dash board cluster but they said it wasn't. Said it needed a new radio. Said the radio is a computer that runs a lot of things in the car...this can not be right is it? Thanks in advance! I know this was an old topic..

the lights in my Control panel for all the climate controls lit up and the air conditioner knob also is yellow. I could not get any of them to turn off when I pushed them. The power button no longer works. Did you all get your problems resolved? What could be my car problem?
My heater/ air will not change when pressing the button it only comes out from the top vents plenty of air both hot and cold
This recently happened to my 2014 equinox so I'll leave my response in case anyone else has this problem in the future. The radio was stuck on one station and the volume control stopped working as well as the climate control knobs and buttons. The only thing that worked were the 4 vehicle info buttons on the bottom of the infotainment system. What happened was it shorted out a pin on the back of the infotainment center and everything stopped working. I was able to get a replacement at a junkyard instead of buying a brand new one because they are a little pricey. I removed the 2 screws holding the top dash compartment off and took that out. And then using a pry bar (or even a large flat head screwdriver) I popped the old infotainment system off and replaced it with the new one. Put it all back together and viola. Good as new and everything functional again.
