2014 Ford Fusion loss of power steering

Are there any suggestions what is going on?
Dealership service closed on the weekends
and Belle Tire said they wish they could help
but cant. I see there is a recall out on this
issue but I also see some people being
charged $1700. What can I do on my own?
What will happen at the dealership on
Monday?

It was the steering gear however my vin# doesn’t come up with this being a recall so I am being charged $2,000 for it to be replaced and an alignment. Anyone know how I can get this reimbursed through ford?
