96 ford ranger xl stepside manual trans

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had so called mechanic replace flywheel with damaged teeth roved engine ???
replaced flywheel when engine was replaced transmission will engage when off
but when running will not engage worked perfectly before engine removal?

Make sure you have clutch fluid and if so, the clutch might not be installed correctly.

I had this same problem!!! Check your clutch master cyl and lines, then if you still have the problem see if you have a snap ring going from your clutch rod to your peddle
