Would the rotors off an early 90s Ford Explorer work on my 96 Ford ranger?

Any specific reason? My friend here is insisting they will fit and we should give it a Try. I'm hesitant

Try them. Either they fit or they don't. DO NOT USE THEM if there are any issues.
