2012 dodge 3500 no trailer brakes or lights

Trailer brake and lights have worked for years on
this truck but recently stopped working. Started out
telling me it wasn't connected.. wiggled connection,
kept telling me not connected, then all the sudden,
nothing! Not even showing connected to the truck
now. I don't know what to do... it's worked a great,
now nothing. Any suggestions?
