We bought a used 2012 Dodge grand caravan We put two new alternators in it and a new battery. The battery light came on a again . Now it wont start. It also burns oil like no other:( I havent been able to drive it for longer than a month since we bought it:( I think we bought a lemon!!! I am so furstrated

Undo your terminals and stick a screwdriver through both of them to make a connection, make sure that you don't touch the battery post when you do this. This is called a hard reset. When you do it, you will need your car to set for 30 min and then hook your terminals back up. Hook up the negative first and then your positive. Driver your car for a week a If you do this you should be fine as far as a hard reset goes. If you have any other problems take it to a repair shop or the dealership to see if the battery has to be programmed to the vehicle
