Low range light is on ...wont disengage out of low

Get it on flat level ground, block the wheels turn key to on and place it in nuetral, have someone push the 2WD button while your underneath tapping on the transfercase shift motor, sometimes the motors just go bad from not enough use, hopefully it will run just enough to get you back into 2WD and then you can replace it later. If it doesn't run then you will need to do circuit testing to make sure the motor is getting power to run to the selected position.

This is more of a question is not an answer I've been trying to figure out how to go by doing with my 99 Durango it reaches a certain temperatures which is 84 degrees it shuts off it has a 5.2 liter in it I already have change the coolant control sensor camshaft sensor crankshaft sensor and it's still daughter from time to time or can core pack cause it to cut out thank you for your time
