I am a 17 year old female and I desperately want to buy this
2012 mustang that my friend is selling but my parents are
worried about insurance prices and that its not a practical
car for Colorado conditions. How much would the
insurance usually run?

It would be higher than if you got a regular sedan. Your parents can contact their insurance agent to get a free quote since you will be on the policy.
