When put in drive or reverse it will bog down and die. Dont know why?

My 2011 traverse was running fine got in it to take
a family home started up fine but starting acting
werid. Put it drive and it started boging out and
then stalled but it in neutural and stayed started
but as soon as it was put in PARK or DRIVE it
would bog and die out. What could be going on?

Scan for codes even if there is not a check engine light displayed. An auto parts store will do this for free if you can get there. Also, replace the fuel filter if it is much more than 30K miles old. Might even be a weak/failing fuel pump.
