Over Heating and S Light on
So I have a 1991 Honda Accord. There is new
radiator, fan, spark plugs and wires. The car is still
over heating and the S light just stays on. Help! Is it
fixable? Oh and when i start the car it stalls then
kinda shakes... I dont know what to do.
If it's overheating, don't run til u find the problem otherwise u'll ruin the engine. If it shakes and stall even when it's not hot, u messed up the engine already, probably blew the head gasket

How do i look at the head gaskets
The best way to know without removing the head is run a compression test on the engine first,this will let you know if you need to tear into it otherwise you will have to remove the intake and exhaust manifold then remove all attached ,alternator ,hoses and wiring then remove valve cover gasket then remove head bolts,this is not and easy job to do unless you have done it before,replacing it after rebiuld is even harder and more complicated because you have to be clean and precise ,meaning timing,and all other gaskets have to be torqued to the right specs.
