Headlights going off while driving

Asked by GuruL6CSH Apr 26, 2019 at 08:58 AM about the 2010 Lincoln MKZ

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The headlight on the passenger side started going off while driving and I had to turn the headlights off and back on and it would work.  Now both headlights are going off while driving and I have to turn the switch off and back on to get them to work.

Mine is having the same issue, did you ever find the problem?

One person online says his was broken wiring, since the headlights on the MKX has the feature of moving when they’re turned on, and follow the road as one drives. Wire casing was okay, but wires within were broken.
