2009 Dodge Grand Caravan 4.0 dies while coasting

Asked by Cherry Feb 23, 2017 at 05:39 PM about the 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just wanting to let others know
our 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan
4.0 has been stalling for a couple
of years now. Always under 40
mph, never while foot is on gas.
We've been throwing it into
neutral just to keep it from dying
and killing us while turning a
corner! Took it to dealer for fob
replacement recall, didn't make a
difference...been reading on
here about the EGR Valve and my
husband put a new one on and it
hasn't faltered/stalled/died yet!
$150 is well worth it♡♡ I'm still
holding my breath because it has
been soooooo messed up for
soooo long! Thanks for all the
ideas everyone!
