2009 dodge grand caravan auto shift doesn't work

I have a 2009 dodge grand caravan and i can't get the auto stick to work. I can
only shift from park to drive. When i tap or hold it left of right nothing happens.  
any idea's?

My 2009 had the same problem when it was ~3 yrs old or so. We were able to get it replaced on warranty and I think it was the actual shifter mechanism that had to be replaced... Good luck.

I found the wiring harness that supports the auto shift was broken. the wires get stretched and break internally inside the insulation. I found a step by step repair for the problem. I can find it for you if you want. .
