How do I charge the battery for a 2009 SLK?

I forgot to take out my car keys from the ignition

in the usual fashion. Connect a charger for four hours. nerveous about sparks connect red from charger to red terminal, black terminal to ground "bracket..chassis" anything metal under your hood. remove after four hours and close your hood....done.

if you got a normal battery,gels suck for recharging,and doubt you would have a glass matt both of wich will ned special procedure
