i have a 2002 honda civic the car was making a clunking sound from the centre from of the engine when driving, i put it on blocks to see what was wrong everything seemed tight .when i put in drive and let free run it started clunking as i pressed the gas a little it got really loud. what could it be.

It could be your CV drive shafts or differential drive coming out of the transmission. You should have it looked at.
