Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just changed the front brake calipers on my
van. When the banjo bolt is not connected
fluid comes out. When I connect it to the
caliper no fluid comes out. Can’t bleed the
brakes if no fluid goes to the brakes. Please
help!!!

Could be large pocket of air in new caliper. Might have to put some brake fluid in the caliper, remount and try again. Just make sure you have not swapped the right and left around. Bleed screw should be on top. Good Luck!

Thank you could it happen in both sides? Both sides are the same. They are both mounted on right though. So take it off then out it back on again?
