I have a 1968, rear-engined Spider, what model is it?

Question type: General

The car has a four cylinder engine in the rear; disc brakes in front, drums in rear; 4-speed manual transmission.  Numbers on I.D. plate:  0028773;  0144028;  100 GBS;  100 GS 3040;  and the number 134 in two places on the plate?  Also, it has no oil filter and had to go to a Ford irrigation pump motor to get an air cleaner that fit?  Any identification assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Also any info as to locating a water pump would surely be great?  Thanks, Bill Evans (928) 467-2578

I would think the car would be an 850 Spider as the 124 is front engined. Hope that helps a little

I have a local guy i get parts from, but there are a few websites that you could try.... bayless and international auto parts I believe the web sites just add a .com to the end. I hope this helps? If anyone can suggest another id certainly look into them as well. I have never dealt with bayless, and international has been a little hit or miss with me recently.
