I HAVE 94 GMC IT HAS THE 5.7 INIT

ITS HARD TO GET STARTED once I get it started sounds good as I rev it up its good till get to about 3 grand then it starts back fireing then dies and it takes for ever to get started again then its the same thing im puzzled 1 ok now the things ive done to it so far changed the plugs the cap and rotor icm and the pick up coil nothen helped I hooked up my scanner the codes it gave me said EST ESC AND FUEL PUMP RELAY OR CIRCUIT PROBLEM I GOT A RELAY OUT OF A TRUCK AT A JUNK YARD THAT TRUCK RAN GOOD IM ABOUT TO CHANGE THE SENDING UNIT NOW OH ALMOST FOR GOT THE ESC THATS THE ONE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE THOUTLE BODY WHITH A 4 OR 5 WIRE CLIP WELL MY TRUCK NEVER HAD ONE ! THATS WHATS GOT ME PUZZLED THE MOST . PLEASE HELP

I took a hammer and hit the bottom of the gas tank 4 or 5 times and it came right out if runs great now but im still gonna change the fuel pump soon even thoe I didn't get any help on here I thought all of this may help someone else out somewhere down the road .

I have a 1994 gmc z71 with the 5.7 engine. When the truck gets to normal operating temp it loads up and stalls at low rpm's. The only way it will restart is holding the gas pedal to the floor. 2 Answers

I have replaced both injectors, fuel filter and complete tune up including the coil and the distributor pick up. Any help would be great.

I have a 1989 350 5.7 TbI and I have a 96 GMC 1500 with a 305 5.0L Vortec with over 250,000 miles can I use the the heads from the Votec 305 5.0L on the 350 5.7L TBI? If so should I change the cam if so what do you recommend this is gonna be a show/driver what kind of cam and lifters do you suggest and what all do I need to do the heads (valve job, replace lifters, rockers) and what should I do to the block seeing that it only has a few miles since rebuild 3 Answers

I have a 1990 gmc seirra 1500 4X4 with the 5.7 350 in it....im having trouble with it missing and backfiring thru the intake after it warms up...it runs fine cold....i 've replaced the plugs , wires , cap , button , and fuel filter and the fuel pump is about three yrs old...any ideas or experiences? 3 Answers
