1999 GMC Sierra

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

ABS motor runs, odometer, speedometer, and cruise do not work.  Are these three problems related to the abs motor pack or are these individual service items?

Also the truck is canadian built and originally sold in canada.  There is a recall for the ABS sensor (Canada only), why do I have to go to Canada to have the recall repaired.  Why not the US?

GM customer service says because Canada only recall has to be repaired in canada. Apparently canadian recall will not be reimbursed to US dealers. Any idea regarding odometer, speedometer, and cruise?

I would check the Vehicle Speed Sensor which is attached to the transmission. It tells your vehicle how fast you're going and could be related to the other items as well.
