turning key on ford winstar 1999 van loud pop now not turning on
I turn the ignnition and heard a loud pop smoke came from front and engine will not star
replace the stater still nothing.HELP
Sounds like a fuseable link blew. Did this happen while boosting the car?
I replaced my starter and when i put the key in their is no sound so i took the starter off and took it to get it looked at it was good so i put it back on and took the battery and got it looked at its good help me i got to move tomorrow and im stuck what could it be i got interior lights and head light but no cluster panel lights radio in the nation doesn't turn over help melissa budd
Check fuse 105 (30amp) in the battery junction box (left side of engine) Check fuse 19 (10amp) left side of dash Purchase a cheap voltage meter at a store. (If you have a harbor freight, they are $3.00) Probe the starter, and have someone turn the key to start and see if you have voltage.
Starter needs replaced.
