Why is it so difficult to find an engine parts and repair manual for my 2006 Mercedes-Benz 2500 diesel 5 cyl?

it seems the only place to get a manual is to subscribe on line. Also these online subscriptions are linked to tecknician training classes. I just want an old fashion Chitlin type engine manual with parts lists.

There is a hardcopy 2000-2006 Sprinter workshop manual available on Ebay here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-2004-2005-2006-Dodge- Sprinter-CDI-Shop-Service-Repair-Manual-Factory-OEM- /360469965622. Same problem, can't find a 2006 shop manual. However I downloaded the 2005 Westfalia manual, everything in that manual is the same as on my 2006 Sprinter. http://sprinterwestfalia.com/wp- content/uploads/2011/11/2005_sprinter_service_manual.pdf

    I would suggest that no one buys an mercedes diesel in sprinter body. No one wants to service them. I live in El Paso, a city of one million and there is no warranty service for 300 miles.
