The Disel Exhaust indicator light came on and the
DEF check light went on after I filled up with disel
gas .

OK....if the emissions system is working properly..the light should go out soon after you put 2.5 gallons or more of DEF into the tank....the DEF light is supposed to be similar to the low fuel gauge system. Sometimes the guage will not work correctly and will require a reset from Mercedes Benz dealership.... Good luck with that...
