I believe you need a sleeve to slip over the ball joint stud you can search the internet to see who has them

I found the easiest way to convert to s-10 ball hunts and spindles is to use a 1 15/16 electrical punch out tool to cut the larger holes to accommodate the larger balljoints top fits perfect and you will have to use a die grinder to trim off 1/8 more to accommodate the bottom ball joint , mark the bolt hole using the balljoint as a template .
