My key is worn and refuses to turn over the ignition.I have a newer key that turns over the ignition but the engine shuts off with an oil pan default light.Fluids are fine. Next step ?.

The key you are using is not being recognized by the CPU, it will start but shut right down. You need to get a copy of the correct key made..
