Carburetor swap

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can I take a carburetor from my 1993 Chevy
Silverado and install it in my 1978 Chevy
Scottsdale the 78 has a Rochester model a
quadrajet carburetor or that's what i think

The carb needs to be rebuilt but I still need
wheels and wanted to know of something
like that could be done

I ended up getting a 2b and adapt plate and it's running great ended up doing some research safe to say I feel stupid but always learning
