Asked by killinit317 Feb 09, 2016 at 12:11 PM about the 2005 Dodge Durango

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My only key broke off in the ignition and was
still able to drive it now it only runs for a few
seconds then shuts off. How can I bypass
the security system so that I can get it
started. I have cancer and am not currently
working and I need to be able to go to my
chemotherapy appts. Please help.

As long as you keep the FOB part of the key with You it should do fine. Try using the FOB to lock then unlock the doors then run it see if it quits after a few. If it does not work then new key time.

I have a 2000 Dodge Durango and on my car romote it says the truck is sleep and won't start how do I take it off sleep mode
