car will not turn over. Battery, sparkplugs, alternator, distributor all ok. getting fuel as well

I know this sounds elementary but also check you battery terminal connections as well as your battery cables. I had a BMW that had the same problem. No amount of checking landed workable results. When I removed the battery cables one sounded crunchy. I felt a swollen area on the cable. Replaced the cable and the car started right up. Since these new cars are so computerized and highly sensitive to varying amps I don't know if the corrosion crested just enough resistance to not allow the proper voltage to the starter. hope this helps.

Yes sounds like the starter has gone bad.

check the starter (take it to auto zone they have a special machine) listen to hear the fuel pump turn on. when the key is clicked forward it should make a brief hum. if you dont hear the hum its a bad fuel pump

said its getting fuel so prolly not the pump could be a coil I would check that out.

Yep, listen to this guy. I was about to say exactly the same. If you don't hear a brief hum/quick clicking when you try to turn it over your starter is done.

Also check the starter fuse if it's not turning over at all. I had the same thing once. It's going to be in the fuse box in the engine bay. Most likely a 40AMP fuse.

how hard is it to remove the starter

get under the car and hit the starte with a hammer. seriously. don;t put a dent in it, but give it a good whack. this has worked for me in the past.

try installing a new starter solinoid. usually it has two bolts plus electrical connections. it is located by the flywheel. :) good luck.
