How many miles until a Hyundai Genesis is dead?

Good vehicle, Hyundai copies the best of U.S. designs, it's 4.6 is an example compare it to Fords 4.6... Korea's attempting to TAKE ON the Japanese market with a budget most people have no idea of! Who knows but they are the fastest growing manufacturer in the world. Cared for it will last as long as any other man made junk !
Great engine, rest of the car is not as great.
Believe what you will, but I've seen the results of their technology failures, and they are garbage, but politically sympathetic people who love Asian manufacturing and technology can't see the forest for the trees. Good luck !
great car. I have a AWD 2015, it had the room, power, and accessories i was looking for. There is nothing comparable to it other than the chrysler 300 and taurus. I got 30k on it and given the warranty I feels I will have this car for another 100k mles
I am on my 2nd one and this one a 2012 has all the gadget failings of the previous 2010 model. I affectionately refer to it as my XJ Genesis. Horrible - Fold in mirror repair - $1,000 (No thank you). Back up sensor problem shown as a green light and most annoying beep - $1,200 (No thank you!). ... and I only have 48,000 miles on it.
terrible terrible my grandmas genesis was all fixed up and modded and it like, the engine just farted and would not start for all the love in the world. That car is a 1 out of 100 the seats were soo uncomfortable they made me feel like i was sitting in a fold up chair from target
Intriguing views. I recall the WSJ car review on the Genesis saying it was not only comparable to the very trendy Lexus at that time (circa 2010) but was better and cheaper by $20,000. When I went through my Audi A8-L after 7 years and then a Lexus 430-SC for 2 years thought I'd investigate. Did so, bought a 2011 and still have it today and after 79,000 passed today, feel it matches the shocked WSJ reviewer's begrudging compliments way back when. Get a feeling I can drive this up to 150,000-200,000.
I have a 2011 Genesis 3.8 with 104000 miles. Still runs very good. All extras still working. Paint is like new. No problems except left fog light has failed twice. How long should I keep it?
Just got into an Uber yesterday with 2011 Genesis.. the guy put 247,000 miles on it and counting.. I was shocked.. he plans to go as far as he can on it too.. He said Hyundai guarantees it for 10 years..
I have 09 genesis with 194k and barely having any issues an if I did it was because of my neglect but the car IS GREAT! Damn near looking to buy another one. (She still runs strong only thing ever happen was heater hose, .... I never did a tune up so filter was dirty as ever) had her for 6 years.
2010 Genesis Coupe 3.8 . 163,200 Miles. Runs like a champ. I dont think ive ever used the Ferrari paddle shifters. So perhaps I'm not putting through it's full speed and performance potential. But It still makes me smile every time I get in.
I have a 2009 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 ultimate with 149k miles and going only thing I have had to do was replace the power steering and that was because I was doing donuts around 80k miles. Lol My rear door handle broke at 120k My alternator went out at 130k The car drives perfect and everything works still Ac seats Nav Rear blinds And sun room
Would it be dangerous to buy a Hyundai Genesis 3.8 Manual with 227k km on it even when it's from a dealership?
Bought used 2012 Hyundai Genesis with 40K miles. Two years later I’ve had to replace the transmission, replace a door actuator, replace the HECU brake controller, and replace the navigation system. Total cost in excess of $10K repairs in two years with less than 70K miles on the car. Yes, it’s a lemon.
My 09 has been pretty solid. 123k and still going. The engine is fine, always feels right. The interior has proven to be well-made. I had to replace the wipers and three oxygen sensors. Change the fluids and filters and it seems to be happy.
@012 Genesis with Technology and Performance Packages...155,000 runs like new. Zero issues, no leaks, best stereo ever, great ride, very comfortable and fast. Best car I ever owned, period.

I currently have a 2009 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 sedan, and I have 181,644 miles on it right now. The only thing I ever had to do was replace the Alternator for about $500…. That’s it besides regular oil changes, etc….. The bad thing is I want a new car, but it’s hard for me to justify getting rid of the Genesis because I’ll get next to nothing for it and it still runs great…. 0 issues….
