About how much to repair electrical system on '91 Sedan DeVille?

All turn signals stopped working suddenly, and the hazard button feels loose
and doesn't work, either.  I was told by a mechanic that the fuse is okay, and
he wants me to bring my car back another day to run diagnostics which will
cost $85.  I live in CA, Central Valley.
