is the themastat easy to access

yes it is. follow radiator hose down to top of engine block, be sure to have drip pan under radiator pet cock ,ussuallt on driver's side,take radiator cap off while engine is cold,open petcock till anti-freeze staets dripping,about a gallon,then close petcock and go back to top of engine,unsrew clamp at hose and pull hose noff, thermastate should be at end of hose,rtemove then reverse sequence making sure thermostat is flush with manifold,do not tighten down both sides with to much torque ie will crack one of the ears . good luck take your time......aaacar
