Have you tried any type of solvent spray to loosen the lock mechanism, on the chance it's just sticking shut? A graphite spray can lubricate a mechanism without leaving any residue behind that can cause it to gunk up in the future. If a spray lube doesn't do the trick, you may have to remove the door panel and see just what failed. Back then all the locking mechanisms were connected by rods back to the lock, so your door handles and keyholes all had connecting rods that, if they popped loose, would prevent them from working. The car is over 30 years old, something most likely just gave out.
