1987 Custom Cruiser Wagon tips

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 87 Cruiser wagon, and among some other quirks, the power antennae motor will not disengage.  It keep going long after the antennae won't or will extend and even after the engine is off, the motor keep whirring and keeps killing the battery.

Can you tell me how to find the wiring to disengage the antenae motor, until I can get that fender off and replace it?

Thanks.

look under the fender..remove the inner fender well,,,unplug antenna,,,,,,if the radiao is out ,,it's the blue wire that powers the power antenna..just clip it..the motor will stop..
