What's wrong with my beretta?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1989 beretta with a 2.8
automatic. It had a cracked head. I
fixed it then drove it to work twice. I
parked it due to buying a new
beretta. I went out yesterday to start
it and it won't start! Any ideas why
not? Is it just the cold? I'm running
antifreeze so it shouldn't be a
cracked block. Please. Any help is
greatly appreciated.

Check if its getting spark, the spark control module is notorious for failing on those, and its down near passenger side front low on the engine block, not the best place for protection....not to mention chipmonks liking to chew the wires.

A Beretta! Not many of those on the roads anymore- for a reason- It could be anything, after your major surgery- and you mention a "new Beretta" what? The firearm?

While the 2.8 wasn't necessarily a great engine, had a couple with the 2.0 and were awesome cars. Again, with both the common issue seems to be spark module, and sometimes coil pack.
