where is the hood release on the 1993 beretta ?

I can not find or open the hood release on my 1993 chevrolet beretta. I have pulled the hood release button inside the car, but can not open the hood from the outside. Can you help me ?

The hood release mechanism cable must have disconnected from the latch, and you are not "popping" the hood when you pull it. Suggest taking this to a mechanic as it is a real pain to try to open one of these when the hood release cable has snapped.
