1971 Plymouth Duster Door Lock Removal/Replacement

Does anyone know how to remove and replace the
turn key locking mechanism on a 1971 Plymouth
Duster.  The key from the guy I bought it from will
not turn in either direction.  I would like to be able
to use a key to lock and unlock doors from the
outside.  I have removed the door panel covering
and can see the locking mechanism, door handle
hardware, etc. from the inside.  Can someone
please help?  Haven’t found any YouTube videos or
instructions on this at all.  All I see is replacement
door lock kits with new keys.

Have a locksmith come out and make a key for you. They can even replace the lock if you want to match the ignition.
