Question type: Maintenance & Repair

injectors spray wide open at idle.will not run unless one injector ( out of two) leed is
unhooked.new carb/ throttle body ,brain?sometimes runs fine for 5 mi. then over fuels and
dies.please point in right direction?thankyou

It only has two! 91 Astro but year of engine unknown. Its first Gen throttle body fuel injection system. It looks like a carb except has TWO spray nozzles on top that only spray wide open?

I've never seen that kind of set up, it can't be from a 1991 anything., good luck, maybe someone has seen this, not me. When you said carb and injectors I figured you were just joshing around, I guess if you are looking at it then I guess it exists.
