2003 astro van

Asked by GuruZRGGW Nov 24, 2017 at 10:30 AM about the 2003 Chevrolet Astro LT Extended RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

At times at freeway speed my astro van will began
to rock from side to side as If a resonance has set
in. In order to stop it I have to slow don and make
compensating tugs on the steering wheel.  We
have replaced the power steering pump and put on
new shocks. None of that has stopped the
problem.  Help

Could be caused by the wear pattern in your tires or a bad alignment. I'd take it to an alignment shop, have the tires checked, alignment, tie rod ends.
