correct sequence for bolts on changinging oil pan gasket 2004 vue 2.2l fwd auto

my gasket is leaking oil, once the gasket is replaced and sealed, what is the correct tightening sequence for the bolts?  How tight do they have to be?

I have had older cars that began leaking out of the oil pan, especially during the winter when the temperatures are lower and stuff loosens up, I have just tightened up loose bolts on the pan and that has stopped or slowed down the leaking. Yet I think you could start in the middle of the pan and hop from opposite side working your way outward. http://www.clarks- garage.com/pdf-manual/lube-06.pdf
