2018 Lexus ES350 put my summer tires back on.The TMPS system would not pick up tire pressure. LExus told me each time I rotate tires must have dealer activate for $50.00 each time. WHAT A RIP OFF

Lexus Canada says I must bring car in each time I change my seasonal tires to
have TPMS reset? Is there any way around this? Cost is $50 each time.

only other option is put all season tires on it and stop changing tires OR buy a scanner that's capable of doing the reset but 50 bucks is cheap compared to the price of a scanner good enough to reset tpms sensors

You can get "All Weather" tires like the Nokian WR G4. They are almost as good as winter tires in snow/ice but rated for 60K miles of year round use. They are very good in rain and dry as well. Read the reviews on line for them. Apparently the Michigan law enforcement uses it extensively.
